Check your email size

You received an email from Alex Korkishko this week (trust me, you did) about reducing your mailbox size.

Starting in a few weeks,

ALL EMAILS OVER 20 MB IN SIZE WILL BE DELETED AUTOMATICALLY. I'll show you how to first of all check the size, and back up your files.

NOTE: This is any particular email message that is over 20MB, not your complete mailbox.

In Alex's email, there was a link to a video showing one method of viewing the email size. You'll see that at the bottom.

I'll show you an easier way in this video. Just click the Play button, and turn up the volume.

*****************************************************************************************

Note: the "Check Mailbox Size" function can only be done in the Novell Groupwise Client, NOT THE WEBACCESS VERSION.

This is the "client" icon:

gw

*****************************************************************************************

Also, you'll see that the filesize is not abbreviated into MB or kb, so a 7 digit number is a MB or Megabyte. For example, 5822351 is 5.8 MB in size.

See this video also for other options, it requires a login:

  2. Much obliged, Ma'am. In fact, I'm starting to carry around a microphone so I can quickly make different videos that come to mind. I think I'm getting the hang of it. Feel free to request other videos here.

    Thanks.

  3. Ok Justin, that was great, I think they are doing this for me. Could you stop by one day, after PTC and make sure I am doing it right, I would hate to delete any of those funny jokes! The video was the BEST!
